Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha has expressed concern over the non-receipt of risk allowance by the doctors of Damauli Hospital. He expressed his concern after it was reported that the doctors had not received proper incentives. "It is unfortunate that the frontline doctors are not getting their allowances on time. After receiving detailed information from the concerned body, I will do my best to help,” he said.
Doctors working at Damauli Hospital have not received risk allowance since July 2021. Dr. Astha Regmi, Dr. Raju Ranamagar, Dr. Divas Dhakal, Dr. Sunyan Subedi, Dr. Sinchan Pandey, Dr. Pooja Sainju, Dr. Prashant Karki, Dr. Abhinandan Tiwari, Dr. Sanjeev Bhandari, Dr. Krishna Giri and Dr. Sushil BK working in the hospital have not received incentive allowance for 18 months. The memorandum was handed over to the CDO last Friday.
