KATHMANDU: The weather across the country is being partially influenced by westerly and local winds.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, as of Monday morning, the hilly regions are partly cloudy, while much of the rest of Nepal is mostly clear.
This afternoon, the hilly areas are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will see conditions ranging from partly cloudy to mostly clear.
The Division predicts the possibility of light rain in one or two spots in the hilly regions of Kosi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with light snowfall in some higher hilly and Himalayan areas.
Tonight, the hilly regions will continue to be partly cloudy, with the rest of the country likely to have partly cloudy to mainly clear skies.
There is also a chance of light rain in a few places within the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
The bulletin released by the Division on Monday indicates a possibility of light snowfall tonight in certain high hill and Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
