Gita Parajuli, owner of the farm, shares that withering diseases have been affecting the growth of vegetables.

Parajuli has rented 10 ropani lands for farming. She says, "We actually rented the land on 5 years contract and have been doing tomato farming for the last four years. But sadly we have not been able to earn much." “My husband, our son, and I work really hard every time to grow the vegetables but the results are not good. The new withering disease is affecting the farm and we don’t even know the name of the diseases to buy the right pesticide,” she added.

Due to the pandemic, the farm was affected for 2 years, and the unpredictable rainfall just added to the loss for the farmers.
