District Police Office, Bara has arrested 12 people, including a minor, on charges of murder.
According to the District Police Office, Bara, 11 of the arrested have been sent to Birgunj Jail while one minor has been sent to Bhaktapur Juvenile Correctional Institution. Police have arrested the twelve on the charge of beating Rakesh Bhakta Poudel of Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolis-6 of Bara to death.
Among the arrested are Chitra Bahadur Chhetri, 50, Durga Khatri, 50, Sante Bachhar, 50, Sandeep Thapa, 26, Suman Lama, 24, and Sudip Ghimire, 26, of Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolis-6.
Similarly, Khagendra Rijal, 42, of Phulbari Tol and Uddhav Adhikari, 35, of Samjhauta Tol Balram Prasad Chimariya, 48, of Jeetpur Simra-3, Raju Adhikari, 26, of Jeetpur Simra-6 Ramwan Tandi and Santosh Khatri, 26, Kumar Magar, 34, of Jeetpur Simra-3 and a minor have been arrested.
