A girl died from a snake bite in Gaindakot Municipality-3 of Eastern Nawalparasi district on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Samjhana Bhujel (12) of Bhujelgaun in Gaidakot-3.
Even though she was bitten by a snake at night, her family came to know about it only in the morning. Bhujel died due to untimely treatment, informed the Gaindakot-based Area Police Office (APO).
Inspector Laxmi Pandey Khanal at the APO quoted the victim's family as saying that the girl could not be saved though she was rushed to the hospital at 5:00 am.
Previously, A four-year-old boy and an 83-year-old man were killed by snakebite in Bhujel village a few days ago.
