Three people have been killed in an accident in Butwal this morning. Two have been seriously injured.
The deceased have been identified as Sabin Chaudhary, 29, of Butwal Sub-Metropolis-13, Govinda Chaudhary, 27, and Navin Shrestha, 27. While Bhagirath Chaudhary of Butwal-13 and Anish GC of Ward No. 12 have been seriously injured in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, said Mohan Bahadur Khan, spokesperson of the Lumbini Traffic Provincial Police Office.
The accident took place when a car (Lu 3 Cha 4442) collided with a truck (Lu 2 Kha 9772) parked in front of the Korean Technical College near Butwal-12 Tamnagar. Police said that there were five passengers in the car.
