Nepal Police have arrested four persons smuggling gold, mobile phones, and laptops smuggled through customs. The Tribhuvan International Security Office of Nepal Police arrested Padma Bahadur Adhikari, 30, of Morang, Man Singh Bishwakarma, 30, of the same place, Samir Rasaili, 22, of Jhapa and Gokul Dallakoti, 32, of Makwanpur from the airport parking lot.
Police also found a gold chain weighing 58 grams, three mobiles and a laptop weighing 58 grams, a gold chain weighing 58 grams, three mobile phones and a laptop weighing 58 grams and a gold chain weighing 58 grams with Samir. Three mobile phones and a laptop were recovered. According to the Police Headquarters, Gokul was also arrested for trying to evade customs. The arrested persons have been sent to the Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office Gauchar for necessary investigation and action along with the seized goods, police said.
