Acting PM Khand inspects disaster-hit areas in Dadeldhura

Acting Prime Minister Bal Krishna Khand inspected flood-hit areas at Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality ward no 1 and 3 in Dadeldhura district today.

Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality chair Nawalpur Malla presented the details of the loss incurred due to the recent unseasonal rain-triggered landslide and flood.

Acting PM Khand pledged the earliest support from the government for relief packages to the disaster survivors as well as for the reconstruction of disaster-damaged houses.

As many as 250 households were at risk of landslides and floods and a huge stretch of arable land was washed away by the flood in Dadeldhura.

Acting PM Khand arrived in Dadeldhura in course of inspection of the flood and landslide-hit districts such as Bajhang and Baitadi in Sudurpaschim province.
