Advance construction of Tokha-Chhare tunnel

MP Arjunar singh KC has demanded that the construction of Tokha-Chhare tunnel, which has also been budgeted, should be immediately carried out. In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that the tunnel is a connecting route not only to Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dhading, but also to the northern neighbors and demanded the government to immediately proceed with its construction.

"In the financial year 2077/78, Rs. 6 billion 42 crores have been allocated in the budget, but no work has been done on it so far. The construction work has not been carried out keeping aside the commitments made by the government and the allocated budget. I will draw the government's serious attention to this," he said.

MP Uday Shamsher Jabara demanded that the construction of Kanti Lokpath be completed immediately. Member of Parliament Urmila Majhi said that the passengers had to suffer due to the dry landslide on the Bensi Sahar-Chame road section in Lamjung's Bensi Sahar-1 and requested to take immediate first control measures and open an alternative route through Masryangdi.

MP Chitra Bahadur KC said that the Rashtriya Janamorcha did not accept the minimum common program brought by the current ruling coalition. "Though the National People's Front has been maintaining its support for federalism, citizenship and transitional issues in the minimum program, the public was confused when it was revealed that it supported that program. We have not accepted federalism", he said.

MP Anjani Shrestha demanded an investigation as soon as possible into the incident that took place during the Swaviyu election in Chitwan and take action against the culprits. MP Anisha Nepali asked who built the bridge on the border between Salyan and Rukum where there is no road. MP Anitadevi Agrahari demanded to solve the citizenship problem.

Member of Parliament Ishwaridevi Neupane said that the families of the workers who lost their lives in foreign employment would be compensated and demanded immediate strict action against the extortionists. MP Geeta Basnet said that she had to go to Banke to get transport related services and requested the government to establish a transport office in Bardia immediately. Member of Parliament Julie Kumari Mahato drew the attention of the government to maintain good governance system, morals and streamline public service delivery.
