Bagmati Province government announces budget worth over Rs 57.72bln

The provincial government of Bagmati Province has allocated more than Rs 57.72 billion for the fiscal year 2078/79.

In the budget presented by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Kailash Prasad Dhungel in the Province assembly today, Rs 26.16 billion has been allocated for the recurrent expenditure and Rs 29.70 billion for the capital expenditure.

It has been estimated that Rs. 23.82 billion will be collected from taxes and revenue while Rs. 6.82 billion will be collected from others revenue sources.

Likewise, It has been estimated that Rs. 16.92 billion will be received as a financial grant from the federal government, Rs. 1.59 billion from miscellaneous bills and Rs. 9.10 billion from revenue savings from the current fiscal year.
