Sundi Mavi of Maya Devi Rural Municipality of Rupandehi has been giving buffalo as a reward to the best students. The school has been giving buffaloes to students for being the best since 8 years.
After the school gives the buffalo award, the parents also have a competition to make their children the best. Such a program has been conducted with the financial support of Onghong Gil Foundation.
Um Hong Gil who is a world record holder as he has climbed 16 peaks above 8,000 metres tall. He is a renowned international mountaineer and social worker.
