Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Jhapa branch of Nepal Civil Servants Association today. He laid the foundation stone of the building in January 2014. Laxmi Guragain, the chairperson of the organization, said that Rs 18.8 million was spent on the construction.
Rs. 5 million from Rashtra Sevak Sahakari Sanstha, Rs. 2.8 million from the Ministry of Peace, Rs. 382,000 from the then-District Development Committee, Rs. 196,250 from the Parliamentary Development Fund, Rs. Similarly, Rs. 4.24 million was collected from various donors. A loan of Rs. 5.25 million was taken from Rashtrasevak Sahakari for the construction of the building.
Bhadrapur Municipality-10 has 14 rooms on the ground floor and two auditoriums on the first floor of a two-story, 15-acre building.
