Today, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountains of Gandaki and Province 1 due to partial cloud cover across the country. According to the Department of Meteorology, the western low-pressure system in the country and in eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh & Bihar in India may have a general effect on Nepal's weather conditions. The department has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid cold as there is a possibility of light snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous terrains of Province-1.
Currently, there is partial cloud cover and fog in many places across the country. It is said that there will be partial to normal cloud cover in Province No. 1, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country at night. Light snowfall is expected at one or two places in the high hills and mountains.
According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 4.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 13.5 degrees. Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla is minus 4.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Biratnagar is 24.7 degrees Celsius.
