Courts across the country will remain closed today on the demise of former Chief Justice Mohan Prasad Sharma.
A full sitting of the apex court (full court) on Saturday decided to grant mourning leave to former chief justice Sharma in courts across the country today. It will be closed today as mourning leave will be given in the Supreme, High and District, Special and Tribunal courts across the country.
Former Chief Justice Sharma died on Wednesday at the age of 88. Sharma, who entered the government service in 2015 BS, was promoted from branch offices of the Ministry of Law in 2017 BS and served as the Chief Justice of Nepal. Late. Sharma has a son and a daughter.
The full sitting of the Supreme Court has expressed grief over the demise of former Chief Justice Sharma and wished lasting peace to the bereaved family.
