Four people died of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at the Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur of Banke district.
A 70-year-old man of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-10 and a 52-year-old woman of Baijanath Rural Municipality-5 of Banke breathed their last while undergoing treatment for COVID-19. According to District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre, Banke’s Resource Person Tej Oli, the male died at 11:40 last night and the female patient died at 6:40 this morning.
Likewise, a 55-year-old man of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-18 died this morning at 4:30 while undergoing treatment . Similarly, an 80-year-old man of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality of Kailali district also succumbed to the Corona Virus at 11:50 last night in course of the treatment in the hospital.
With this, the total number of deaths caused due to COVID-19 reached 141 in Banke district.
