COVID case increases in Province 2

As coronavirus infection is rapidly increasing in India its effects are also showing in numbers of the districts of Province 2. The COVID numbers is increasing in the Province.

According to Saphi Dhanusha, the provincial health directorate, the reports of 16 out of 99 people tested COVID positive in the last two days, He also adds the risk of new variant 'Omicron' has increased and the border checkpoints have been tightened.

Cheif of the Armed Police Force, State-2, Ganesh Thada Magar informed that help desks have been set up at each checkpoint and they are conducting PCR tests as well.

Doctors have warned that most of the checkpoints in Province 2, including Janakpurdham, could become a 'hotspot' of COVID spread due to the increasing risk of.

According to Vijay Jha, director of the provincial health directorate of Province 2, the increasing number of coronavirus infections in the last few days is a sign of danger. Jha says that the situation could get worse if people remain negligent.

While the numbers of COVID cases are increasing in the Province, only 38 per cent have been vaccinated.

The state government is preparing to protect the citizens of the state from the possible third wave. Minister for Social Development of Province 2, Nav Kishor Sah, said that the state government has come forward with the idea of giving priority to vaccination to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection and adopting safety protocols.

According to Minister Sah, the meeting of the ministers of the state government, and the district health chiefs, which was held, only a few days ago in the presence of the chief minister, decided to move ahead with the vaccination drive immediately.
