Cyclist dies after being hit by a bus

Gauriganga municipality-1 of Kailali, one person died today due to a bus collision near Chaumala Buhmukhi campus.

District Police Office Kailali said that the deceased is 46-year-old Khadak Thapa of Gouriganga-2 Katan. According to the police, on Monday near Chaumala Buhmukhi Campus, a bus from Far West Transport No. 6KH 9693, which was going from east to west, hit Thapa, a cyclist who was coming in the opposite direction.

Injured Thapa died this morning during recovery at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi. It is said that the local police officer in Malakheti has detained the bus and the bus driver and is conducting further investigation.
