DV-2022 lottery results out

The US Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs has published the results of the 2022 Diversity Visa programme (DV-2022) today.

Through the DV programme, thousands of Nepalis have already reached the US for permanent residency with green cards in their hands. Those who have applied for the electronic DV from October 7, 2020 to November 10, 2020, with American dreams, can check for their names in the published list.

The department has advised the entrants to enter their confirmation information on https://dvprogram.state.gov/

https://dvprogram.state.gov/ESC/(S(qiz0r3twwetwwqh5znjiwlqn))/default.aspx 

starting at noon (EDT) on May 8, 2021, or Nepali time 9:45 pm Saturday. It has been learned that only confirmation information for entries submitted during the period mentioned above is valid for checking the entrants' status. DV-2022 Entrants should keep their confirmation number until at least September 30, 2022.

Likewise, DV-2021 Entrants have until September 30, 2021, to check the status of their entry through the website through the link mentioned above. The DV-2021 registration period was from October 2, 2019, until November 5, 2019.

The DV programme makes up to 50,000 immigrant visas available annually, drawn from random selection among all entries to individuals who are from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States, according to US Department of State. The lottery winners immigrate through consular processing and issuance of an immigrant visa.
