Littérateur, ministers, social workers, government employees among other luminaries who have been listed to receive 'Honorary Vibhushan' have been urged to be present at the Office of President at Sheetal Niwas, on April 14 (Baisakh 1), the beginning of Nepali New Year.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who announced to award the 'Honorary Vibhushan' on September 19, 2020, coinciding with the Constitution Day, will confer the decorations on 633 people, on April 14, as per the notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA).
Those receiving the decorations have been urged to contact the Decoration Section at the Ministry of Home Affairs together with the identity cards from April 6 to 12 and get the admit card for the decoration ceremony.
The MoHA has also urged the district administration offices to inform all the awardees to be present in the ceremony in formal uniform. The civil employees have been urged to wear formal grey or back suit with badge and emblem and black leather shoes while employees from security agencies including Nepali Army, Nepali Police and Armed Police Force have been asked to be present at the ceremony wearing various combat boots, badge and those taking part in the parade to be present wearing sword symbol badge. The civil servants will also be allowed to wear the traditional attire that represents their local language, religion and culture.
The name of the 633 employees to receive the decoration can be found on the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The employees have also been informed to compulsorily carry the admit card at the function to be held at the Office of the President.
It is mandatory for the participants to follow the preventive measures against COVID-19. The MoHA has appealed to the employees to contact their respective District Administration office for the details.
