KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana is set to visit Germany following Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s offical visit to China.
Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Nepal News that Minister Rana is expected to arrive in Germany on December 14, with official engagements scheduled for December 15 and 16.
Rana will meet with her counterpart, Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, along with several other officials.
Foreign Minister Rana had a brief sideline meeting with Minister Baerbock during the UN General Assembly in New York on September 24.
The visit schedule has been finalized and will be announced soon, according to ministry sources. Foreign Ministry Sources said that Rana will participate in a conference, after which she will hold meetings with German officials.
She will fly to Japan on November 26 for follow up to her health checkup and visiting in Beijing on November 29 to prepare for Prime Minister KP Oli's upcoming visit, sources said.
