POKHARA: Bimala Gauchan, a Member of Parliament from Gandaki Province, has passed away.
She passed away last night in Kathmandu after being hospitalized due to illness, where doctors declared her dead.
Gauchan, who represented the Nepali Congress as a proportional representative from Gandaki Province, was originally from Myagdi.
Recently, she had been suffering from dengue fever. While the specific cause of her death has not been officially confirmed, her family believes it could have been a heart attack.
