Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the government will bear the cost of the treatment of former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal. Prime Minister Deuba told this to Khanal in a telephone conversation today when he was at CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal's residence.
CPN UML Leader Khanal is currently undergoing medical treatment in New Delhi, India.
Prime Minister Deuba had reached Dahal's Khumaltar residence late afternoon today to inquire about the health condition of Dahal's spouse Sita, when the telephone conversation took place, according to Dahal's press expert Bishnu Sapkota.
