Implementation of MDMS postponed

The government has postponed the full implementation of the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS) for the time being. The implementation has been suspended for now due to confusion regarding the provision of rules on mobiles brought by Nepalis from abroad.

According to the authority, it is not mandatory to register mobile phones brought from abroad.
