The Lalitpur Metropolitan City Office has decided to administer the second dose of the Covishield vaccine. It has issued a notice stating that the second dose will be administered on Wednesday from 10 am till 4 pm.
The notice has mentioned that 2,500 people who have already received the first dose of Covishield will receive the second dose. There are 2,200 senior citizens above the age of 75 who have received the first dose along with people’s representatives, essential service providers and health workers.
The Lalitpur Metropolitan City Office has said that the second dose will be administered at its premises, the Department of Livestock Services in Hariharbhawan, Patan High School, Dhapakhel Health Post, Balkumari School, Karyabinayak School, Harisiddhi Health Post, and Sainbu Health Post.
The notice has also urged those who want the second dose to get a recommendation letter from their respective ward offices. Those interested will also have to bring along the card of the first vaccination and an identity card disclosing their age.
