Police in Kaski district on Tuesday made public a man arrested on the charge of murdering his father
The arrested has been identified as Ram Krishna Kami of Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 in the district.
In a press conference organised in the district, police said Kami was arrested for killing his 58-year-old father Jum Bahadur on February, 21.
Police said Kami hit his father Jum Bahadur with a wooden block fatally injuring him over a family dispute.
A murder case has been filed and the District Court, Kaski has extended the police custody of the suspect by 10 days, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at Kaski District Police Office (DPO), Subas Hamal.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway said police.
