Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal, Abrar Hussain Hashmi, paid a courtesy call on National Assembly (NA) Chairperson Ganesh Timilsina on Wednesday.
During the meeting held at latter's official residence, matters relating to Nepal-Pak relations and parliamentary affairs of both countries were discussed. They also exchanged views on bilateral interests and mutual concerns.
On the occasion, the Pakistani envoy extended an invitation on behalf of the Chairman of Senate of Pakistan Muhammed Sadik Sanjarani to the NA Char for the visit to Pakistan.
In response, the NA Chair said he would be waiting an appropriate time to visit Pakistan, extending his gratitude to the Pakistani Senate for the invitation, according to the NA Chair's Private Secretariat.
