KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has received an official invitation to visit China during the first week of December.
Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Chinese Premier Li Qiang extended the invitation for the visit, which is scheduled from December 2 to 6.
"The invitation has been received; the decision is now pending on our side," the source confirmed. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has also announced the invitation and confirmed the visit.
This will mark PM Oli's first official overseas trip since he took office on July 15.
While he previously traveled to the United States to address the United Nations General Assembly, his visit to China will be his first official international visit.
