Prime Minster Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that he was serious for the revitalization of the country's economy.
Inaugurating the Sudurpaschim Mahotsav on Friday organized by Kailali Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhangadhi, the PM said it will be a moment of pride for him if he could revitalize the country's economy within some months.
On the occasion, the PM said that there have been some signs of reforms in the economy at present against the disappointing condition of economy during the initial days of his premiership.
"Remittance inflow has increased, more tourists have arrived Nepal, revenue collection has gone up since last month and the foreign exchange reserve has also increased," the PM argued.
In his speech, PM Prachanda shared that efforts have been initiated for social justice, good-governance and prosperity.
During the programme, the PM said that no action will be allowed against the nation and people's interests until remains in the post of the PM.
He also said that the government has formed a committee to probe the sale of Ncell's shares.
Likewise, PM Prachanda said he was committed to the development efforts of the entire Sudurpaschim Province adding that more priority is given to industry, education and health care sector.
The PM asked the folks there not to harbor confusions on the operation of Geta Medical College as the Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Sciences University since a bill was under discussion.
Similarly, he pledged to advance Phapla Cricket Stadium as the national pride project and shared that works on Urai Bhanjyang point, Dodhara Chandani Dry Port and Pancheshwor Hydropower Project are taking place.
The PM also assured of development at Khaptad area, Parshuram Dham and other sites in the province.
During the event, Chief of Sudurpaschim Province Devraj Joshi said that the federal government should pay its attention to resolve the issues raised by the local community and stakeholders, and the province government.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Prachanda addressed the party's special transformation campaign at Ghasita area of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali and added that his government was working as per the people's aspirations.
The government's focus is on infrastructure development, economic development, good-governance and social justice.
The PM also shared that he was working to deepen cooperation from neighboring India and China, and the USA for Nepal's development endavours and also to uplift Nepal's pride.
Prachanda added that the party would conduct its statute conference after completing the ongoing campaign and then general convention would be organized.
The ongoing campaign of the Maoist party has once again established relations of the people and the Maoist cadres and has renewed the linkages between the party cadres, injured warriors of the people's war, martyrs families and families of the enforced disappearance, he observed.
