The policy and program of the government for the fiscal year 2022/23 has been submitted to the Federal Parliament.
President Bidyadevi Bhandari is addressing the policies and programs of the government in the joint sitting of the federal parliament today. During the meeting, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba handed over a copy of the policy and program addressed to President Vidyadevi Bhandari. President Bhandari was welcomed at the Parliament House by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
Earlier, the cabinet meeting held this morning had passed the government's policy and program. The policy and program aims at import substitution, export promotion, increase in domestic production, job creation, high economic growth and more. The government will present the budget for the coming fiscal year on May 29 as per the policy and program.
