KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel on Friday appointed new ambassadors to five countries: Portugal, Spain, Belgium, South Korea, and South Africa.
On the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the President has appointed Prakash Mani Poudel as Ambassador to Portugal, Sunil Nepal as Ambassador to Spain, Prof. Dr. Kapilman Shrestha as Ambassador to South Africa, Sewa Lamsal as Ambassador to Belgium, and Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahangphe as Nepal’s Resident Ambassador to South Korea.
The appointments were made in accordance with Article 282 (1) of Nepal’s Constitution, as confirmed in a statement from the Office of the President.
