President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appealed to people's elected representatives at all levels, experts and nature lovers to work to combat forest fire and help check air pollution.
In a tweet today, President Bhandari has expressed concern over the rise in air pollution across the country as a result of forest fire, industrial and transport emission, with winter rain already becoming uneven due to the impact of climate change.
जलवायु परिवर्तनका कारण हिउँदे वर्षा अनियमित भइरहेको परिवेशमा डढेलो‚औद्योगिक र सवारी साधनको धुवाँ‚धुलो आदिबाट देशैभर वायु प्रदुषण बढ्नु चिन्ताको विषय हो। डढेलो नियन्त्रण गर्दै वायु प्रदुषण न्यूनीकरणका लागि पहल गर्न सबै तहका जनप्रतिनिधि‚ विज्ञ तथा प्रकृतिप्रेमी सबैमा आह्वान गर्दछु।
