President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of the 138th birth anniversary of Falgunanda. Mahaguru Falgunanda Lingden is the revered spiritual leader of Kirat community.
"May the Falgunanda Jayanti inspire all to devote to the campaign of harmony, tolerance, non-violence and social reform," she wished, reminding that Falgunanda was not only a religious leader but also a social campaigner to wipe out social ills.
The birth anniversary of the spiritual leader is observed by organizing various programs in the Province-1 districts as Panchthar, Taplejung, Tehrathum, Ilam and Jhapa.
