Police arrested a man on charge of killing his father from Bhumlu Rural Municipality-9 in Kavre district.
The deceased has been identified as Kaman Singh Tamang (70) while the accused has been identified as Durga Tamang (40).
Durga allegedly beat his father leading to Kaman's death on the spot. Acting on a tip-off, Dolalghat-based Police Office personnel nabbed him immediately on Friday night.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, informed the police.
