Tilottama Municipality in Rupandehi district has decided to provide Rs 5 lakh to families affected by the floods in Melamchi Municipality of Sindhupalchowk district.
Mayor of Tilottama Municipality, Basudev Ghimire, said that the financial aid of Rs 5 lakh is being provided to help those who have been affected by the floods in Melamchi. He added that it is during times like these that one municipality has to come forward to help another in whatever way it can.
Tilottama Municipality is the first municipality to provide financial aid to Melamchi.
