Police in Dhanusha district on Wednesday afternoon arrested two youths in possession of one pistol from Tinkoriya Chowk in Bideha Municipality-6.
The arrested have been identified as Utimlal Paswan (25) and Nipul Yadav (19), both residents of Sahidnagar Municipality-3 in Dhanusa district.
They were heading to Yedukuha from Mainathpur on a motorcycle with vehicle registration number JA 10 PA 8635. Security personnel deployed from the Dhanusha-based Giddha Police Office nabbed them in possession of the pistol during a routine vehicle check.
Meanwhile, further investigation on this matter is underway, said the police.
