Doti Cluster of the United Mission to Nepal has handed over health supplies worth Rs 1.325 million to Bogatan Phudsil rural municipality in the district. The United Mission to Nepal (UMN), an international non-government organization, has been providing support in different sectors of Nepal including education, health and sanitation.
The health supplies provided by UMN to the rural municipality includes 250 antigen kits, 3,000 surgical masks, 1,000 gloves, 12 thermometers, 24 sets of PPE, 400 KN 95 masks, 12 hospital beds, oxygen, 425 litres of sanitizers and 30 face shields, said team leader of the organization, Bishal Babu Shrestha.
Chairperson of the rural municipality, Kamal Bahadur Gadsila, shared that it will be easier to carry out treatment of the people in the village from the health supplies provided by the organization as the people infected with variant of COVID-19 has been rapidly spreading in the district.
Similarly, the UMN has been making preparation to provide health supplies at the District Risk Management Centre, Badikedar rural municipality and Jorayal rural municipality.
