Woman who cheated on social media arrested

55-year-old Kamaladevi Shrestha, a resident of Ithari, Sunsari, has been arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office team on the charge of fraud through social media.

She was arrested on the charge of being involved in fraud by claiming to be a citizen of the UK and sending various gifts to the victim while communicating through the social network Tiktok and WhatsApp. According to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, the arrested Shrestha has been sent to District Police Office Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
