Youth arrested on charge of sexual abuse in Morang

Police in Morang district on Thursday evening arrested a youth on charge of sexually abusing a 25-year-old woman from Budhiganga Rural Municipality-2.

The accused has been identified as Saroj Kumar Shah, a 24-year-old resident of the same rural municipality in the Morang district.

Shah allegedly abused the woman repeatedly and also assaulted her. Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the district nabbed the accused.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
