National women's football team to face Bangladesh today

The Nepali national women's football team is playing its first friendly match against Bangladesh on Thursday at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor. The match will start at 5 pm.

This will be national women's team's debut at the Dasharath Stadium.

Similarly, coach Gary Phillips will also make his debut.

Nepal is playing a friendly match with Bangladesh to prepare for the AFC Women's Asian Cup-2022 selection. The second match will be on Sunday.

The AFC Women's Asian Cup-2022 qualifiers will be held in Uzbekistan. Nepal is in Group F in the selection. Nepal's group includes the Philippines and Hong Kong.

Nepal will play the Philippines at the JAR Stadium in Uzbekistan on September 18.

Similarly, Nepal will face Hong Kong in the second match on September 21. The group stage match between the Philippines and Hong Kong will be played on September 24.

The top team of the group will play the Asian Cup in India next year. The Asian Cup will be held from January 20 to February 6.
