The Maldives team has come to Nepal to participate in the SAFF Championship football tournament under 20 years (U-20) in Nepal. Tomorrow the team from Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and India will come. Bangladesh is scheduled to come only on Saturday night. Pakistan will not play in the tournament.
Pakistan has withdrawn its name from the tournament.
Nepal will play Sri Lanka in the opening match on August 18. As Pakistan will not play, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be in Group 'A' which includes Nepal. Similarly, India, Maldives and Bhutan are in another group 'B'. India is the former winner and Pakistan is the runner-up team.
