Pulsar Sports Awards: Men's and Women's Player of the Year Award for Athletics

Athletics' Deepak Adhikari and Rajpura Pachai have been declared as NSJF Pulsar Sports Award-2079 Player of the Year.

In a program organized by Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) on Sunday, Deepak was declared the best player of the year in men and Rajpura in women.

Table tennis player Sikka Suwal Shrestha won the People's Choice Award.

 She was the winner based on the voting of Esewa. She got the highest 44.8 percent votes.

Athletics coach Chandra Gurung was declared the best coach of the year. Cricketer Dev Khanal was declared as the young player of the year.

Maiya Bisankhe was honored with the NSJF Para Athlete Award. The Olympian and weightlifter Rajendra Kumar Pradhan received the Life Time Achievement Award.

The Asian Sports Journalist Award has been presented to Hong Kong's Raymond Chu.

 At the ceremony, a special award was given to Photojournalist and sports activist of Pokhara Sudarshan Ranjit.
