Nepal is competing against India in its final league match of the SAAF U-19 Women's Championship in Bangladesh today. The match will start at 2:45 pm Nepali time at the Martyrs' Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka.
A draw against India is enough for Nepal to reach the final in the top two of the five-team championship. Nepal is at the top with 7 points from 3 games. Despite having the same number of points, Bangladesh is in the second position. India is in third place with 6 points from two wins and one loss. India had lost the last match to Bangladesh.
Nepal started the championship with a goalless draw with Bangladesh in the first match. After that, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 6-0 in the second match and defeated Bhutan 4-0 in the third match.
Till now, India has beaten Sri Lanka in the first match and Bhutan in the second match. In the third match, India lost to Bangladesh. Today, Bangladesh is playing its last game against Sri Lanka. If Nepal defeats India, it will reach the final even if the result is like Bangladesh.
