U-19 Women's Championship: Nepal beats Bhutan 4-0

Nepal has reached the final of the U-19 Women's Football Championship by defeating Bhutan. Nepal is nearing the final after defeating Bhutan 4-0 in a match played at the Martyrs' Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Friday. After losing to Nepal, Bhutan is out of the league stage.

Menuka Ale Magar scored two goals while Kusum Khatiwada and Rajni Thokar scored one goal each. Nepal has got seven points from four games. Nepal has risen to the top in the points table. Now, Nepal will play the last match of the league against India on December 19.

Nepal drew 0-0 with Bangladesh in the first match and defeated Sri Lanka 6-0 in the second match. Earlier, Bhutan had defeated Sri Lanka 5-0 in the first match. In the second match, Bhutan lost 6-0 to Bangladesh and in the third match, 3-0 to India.

Sri Lanka, in fifth place, is scoreless after losing three games in a row. Sri Lanka is out of the title race. The top two teams from the five-nation tournament will play in the final.
