Zlatan Ibrahimovic has renewed his contract with AC Milan for a further year, the Rossoneri announced on Thursday.
Ibrahimovic first joined Milan in 2010, before a move to Paris Saint-Germain two years later. After stints at PSG, Manchester United, and Los Angeles Galaxy, the Swede returned to San Siro as a free agent in January 2020.
Despite being 39 years old, the veteran still made a huge impact at Milanello, scoring 15 goals in the current Serie A season.
"AC Milan is the Club for which Zlatan has played the most in Italy. After scoring 84 goals in 130 appearances with the Rossoneri, the Swedish striker will continue to be wearing the red and black jersey next season," read a statement.
Milan now ranks second with 66 points on the table.
