Boating businesses have come back into operation at Sri Antu Pokhari of Suryodaya Municipality. Boat operations, which had been suspended for two years, have been resumed. The boating was stopped at Antu Pokhari after some problems arose between the municipality and the boat operator along with the coronavirus pandemic. For the first time, the municipality has brought boats back into operation in the lake to promote tourism. After reaching Sri Antu, boat ride is an option for internal and external tourists along with the view of sunrise and sunset.

At present, three boats are operating in the pond, said Mayor Ran Bahadur Rai. Stating that the boating was operated to entertain the tourists coming from outside, Mayor Rai said, "The boating has been added to Antupokhari along with other tourist spots."

According to Chief Rai, the municipality has already allocated funds for the operation of boats in the pond in the course of developing infrastructure in various sectors of tourism. Tourists will be charged Rs. 50 for boarding a boat once. Fifteen life jackets have also been provided for boating.
