Chatur Tamang climbed Mount Elbrus 134 times

Chatur Tamang, a Nepali mountaineer and mountain trail guide, is getting continuous success in Europe's biggest mountain Elbrus this year.

Yesterday, he managed to climb this mountain near Moscow, Russia, for the 134th time. He got this success in the series of climbing other mountaineers as a guide.

The height of this highest and most prominent peak in Russia and Europe is 5,642 m.

Until last year, he had reached the summit of this mountain for the 121st time. He reached Moscow only a few weeks ago and has climbed that mountain 13 times this year.

In 1874 an English expedition led by F. Crauford Grove reached the West summit. Since then Elbrus has been climbed by 1000s of mountaineers, including some of the world's best climbers who bag the mountain as part of their Seven Summits bid.
