In conversation with Nepal News Bill Benseley shared, “My first time i was ever here in Nepal was in the 80’s but I only recently visited Mustang recently upon which I was left kicking myself in the head wondering why I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. Nepal after its natural disasters and political unrest is finally in a period of stability, it is now ripe for tourists to boom. Through the luxurious hotels of Shinta Mani we look to provide the exclusivity, solace and stunning nature to the luxury tourists. We look for quality over sheer quantity. However Shinta Mani isn’t a Hotel made for the richest of the rich of this world, that is not its sole purpose. Shinta Mani is to uplift the community around these remote places by providing them with training, jobs, assistance bringing the community along with the nation's tourism up as a whole.”

Activities at the resort are to include trekking, horse riding, rock climbing, cycling, archery, hiking, helicopter tours and wellness, with a personalized guest experience program that caters to the traditions of Sherpa hospitality. In keeping with Shinta Mani’s philosophy of giving back to the communities in which they are located, a charitable Foundation is also to be created for this purpose.

The resort shall be developed as an all-inclusive experience, with the guest’s journey curated to provide the most remarkable 360 degree, luxury experience in the Himalayas. Room, air-transfers, activities, spa, food and beverage are all included in the package - the only thing guests will pay extra for are the helicopter tours.

Guests will fly from Pokhara or Kathmandu to Jomsom which is at an altitude of 2,700 meters, from which it is a short drive to the resort. Rates at the Shinta Mani Mustang Resort for the all-inclusive program will start from USD $1,500 per night.
