Upendra Yadav of Janata Samajbadi Party has been elected in Bara-2.

The vote count is underway for the by-election in constituency no 2 of the Bara district. The Chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party, Upendra Yadav, is leading the vote count till 7:00 am.

Vote counting of the by-election held in Bara-2 on Sunday is to take place this morning.

Voting has begun at all polling centers in Bara Constituency 2 at 7 am today. Around five percent of voters cast their vote in one hour, said chief election officer Mukesh Upadhyay.

Election Commission has called for an application for the observation of the by-election to the member of the House of Representatives.

Rastriya Swatantra Party has made public the preliminary name list of the candidates running in the coming April 23 by-election.
