US has said the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down over the Atlantic Ocean in early February didn't collect intelligence.

China on Monday accused the United States of indiscriminate use of force when the American military shot down a suspected Chinese spy balloon.

The United States has shot down a Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic Ocean, CNN reported citing a US official. US President Joe Biden had approved shooting down the balloon and was supported by military officials, as per the news report.

China said Friday it is looking into reports that a Chinese spy balloon has been flying in U.S. airspace.
