President Bidya Devi Bhandari has paid tribute to all known and unknown martyrs, including Sukraraj Shastri, Dharma Bhakta Mathema, Dasharath Chand, and Gangalal Shrestha, who sacrificed their precious lives for civil liberty.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba laid a wreath at Martyr's Memorial, Lainchaur on Sunday morning as Nepal marked the Martyr's Day.

Martyrs Ganga Lal Shrestha and Dasharath Chand have been commemorated by offering bouquets on their statues.

On the fourth day of Martyr's Week, a wreath is laid at the statue of Martyr Dharma Bhakta Mathema.
